Patent reports are included in the base IDdb service within 2-3 weeks of the patent's
publication. During this time, a full intellectual abstract of the patent is written, and
indication, action and technology index terms are added to the report.
The optional Current Patents Gazette service, which forms part of IDdb Portal, is an
ultra-fast alerting service, providing brief details of new patents with contextual commentary.
A Gazette record is produced by the end of the same week in which the patent is published.
